Our History

This story is the detailed story of our relationship as it happened. This story takes place from the moment we met to the moment she was forced to break up with me to about a month after the break up.

I first saw Christina at the Eagle Ridge Mall around the kiddie playground. I saw her from a distance sitting by herself and I honestly thought she was either a grown Woman or a Teen Mother. Boy, was I wrong. Come to find out she was just babysitting while her friend and her friend's parents were shopping and that she was just 14 (or was at the time). I was acting all shy and stuff. My mom asked me to go get me and her a snack from the pritzel place not far from the kiddie playground she had stopped to have a seat at to rest her knees. While I was gone getting the snacks, that's when Christina made the first move and started talking to my mom about me. When I got back I was wondering who my mom was talking to. She said that her name was Christina Riggs. I introduced myself very nervously. Christina then went on asking me questions about myself and then it was time for her to go. That's when she asked me for my phone number. We traded phone numbers and went our seprate ways. We accidentaly ran into each other again in Rack Room Shoes about 10 minutes later. My mom & I were doing school shopping because school started next week. Apparently, they were too. I'm not exactly sure.  We then once again went our seprate ways. About two days later (it was about Thursday), I finally called her (or she called me, I'm not sure) and I invited her to see a movie with me. She said yes. We then agreed on a movie to see. We agreed to see Must Love Dogs which had just come out. She gave me the address to her house and I took the address and looked directions up on MapQuest.com and printed them out.

That Saturday, me and my dad went and found our way to her house and picked her up for the date (which at that moment wasn't really a date if you ask me). She asked me to meet her dad which I did. Oddly, her mom asked for our License Plate number on our car which she said was for incase we tried to kiddnap her which was fine with us to a point because we had NO plans of doing so. We took her back to my house where my mom and brother was still getting ready to go. My mom friend Charlotte was going to go with us, so she was there. We then left to go to the mall where we had met to see the movie. We got in to see the movie. Me and her were watching that movie by ourselves. My dad went and saw one by hisself. My mom, brother and my mom's friend Charlotte we and saw a different one. I just can't get out of my mind how close I held her during the movie. After that, Charlotte left,  Christina, my dad, my mom, my brother and I then sat down at the resturant in Recreation Station and had supper. We then took Christina home. She showed me her room and we started to watch another movie in her room while the parents got to know each other. And after that we split up for the night but not before officially becoming boyfriend/girlfriend and that's when she gave me a bookmark photo her.  Over the next week, I just couldn't stop thinking about her in class and my class effort was starting to show it. I just couldn't stop looking at that photo of her. I called her after I got home and after I knew she was home on Wednesday and invited to go with me to my Grandmother's house in Lakeland where my family was having a Back-To-School lunch for the kids. She agreed to go with the just obtained okay from her mother.

That weekend we picked her up and went off to my grandmothers house. When we got there lunch wasn't just ready yet so we went and sat on the couch in front of the TV which my cousin Brittney had put on FUSE or some TV Channel along that line. We sat there talking, that when we discovered we loved the same Green Day song called "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". We then slowly went in for our first kiss. I then sat there lovestruck for the next 15 seconds. I held her in my arms till it was time to eat about 30 minutes later. We then ate. After that we spent time with my family. Then we left and droped her off at her house in Winter Haven. We then shared a good-bye kiss. As I left and was on my way home I just couldn't get that first kiss out of my mind. I still couldn't through the next week. That week on Wednesday, she asked if me and my brother Joshua would like to come over to her house Saturday around Noon to swim. I asked my parents and they said okay then I told my brother and he said he would. Then, I told her I would. I looked forward to Saturday the rest of the week because this would be the third weekend in a row that we would be together. I thought about her the rest of the week.

That Saturday, me brother packed up the things we were gonna need and my dad on his day off took us to Christina's house.  When we got there we were asked to wait outside because Christina was still in her night gown. When Chistina got outside in her bathing suit. Her mom had to go to the store so she left Christina in charge BUT left Christina's little brother to watch us and make sure we didn't do anything we weren't supposed to. While she was gone, Christina's brother taged up with my brother and was shooting us wtih water from water guns. Me & Christina quickly built a fort to keep us safe. Her brother couldn't see our faces. That's when Christina and I kissed and all of a sudden catching me off guard, we made out under there. Then one of Christina's mom's friends (or at least I believe she was a friend) showed up and started talking to us. Then she left. Once again, we were there alone. About an hour and a half later we got out of the pool. We dried off. Got into dry clothes. And Christina and I then sat on her couch next to each other while my brother and her brother played with his car collection. When they got out of site Christina and I started to make out again. Then the cell phone I had brung along with her home phone started to ring. On the cell phone it was my dad telling me he was gonna pick us up at 5:00pm (which it was then about 4:15pm) which meant he was about to leave. On Christina's phone I believe it was her Mom calling to tell her she was on her way back. We didn't get to make out again because by that time her dad was home. My dad showed up at about 5:10pm to pick me and my brother up and Christina and I kissed each other good-bye. And we went our own ways for the last time as boyfriend/girlfriend. Next weekend we didn't do anything together except talk on the phone for a little bit. The following Thursday I had Marching Band practice. Afterwords, Christina called me on my dad's cell phone and told me she couldn't go out with me anymore because her mother said so.  My heart crumbled into a million pieces.

About two weeks later I e-mailed Christina and asked why she was forced to break up with me. She replied she didn't know. Two days later I called her house to talk to her. Her mother answered and said she couldn't talk. I asked why she said it was because she didn't want her talking to me. I then asked her why she made Christina break up with me she said it was because my mom's a lesbein (though note, she's not) and then she told me don't call back and hung up on me. My mom heard what happened and angeredly called back but the answering machine picked up and my mom yelled a little and revealed that we had been talking by e-mail (Christina wasn't allowed to have one). The damage that had occured and healed a little was back but worse due to her mother. About a month later me and my mom stoped by her house Christina was outside but quickly rushed inside by her mother. We talked to her dad and he didn't understand it. He went inside to talk to his wife (Christina's mother). When he came back he asked us to get off his property. My mom mouthed of a little in anger because they wouldn't work the problem out with us so we could date again.
